“This is an art competition that is open for youths aged 12-25 yrs old. Participants must be currently residing in Singapore.
This art competition is in support of the youth mental health outreach program by Limitless.”
Competition Dates:
21st February 2022 to 26th May 2022.
How to Participate?
All participants must purchase our official tote bag ($12) from our office.
The design must be on the blank portion of the tote bag.
Creativity is unlimited.
Participants can paint, draw, sew or embellish on the tote bag.
Only original designs are allowed.
Participants must prove that all design is self-produced, not assisted by a professional for added advantage.
Design not on the official tote bag will be automatically disqualified.

How to submit the tote bag after design?
Submit the completed design to Limitless office:

Only physical tote bag submission is permitted.
Please indicate your name, mobile, and email address on the tote bag upon submission.

Who can participate?
This competition is open to everyone within this age as of 31st December 2022 (12-25 yrs old) and must be currently residing in Singapore.
Proof of age is required. Do bring your NRIC/ID to verify upon submission.
Only 50 participants:
The first 50 participants submitted will be allowed to compete.
Closing date: 26th May 2022 (Before 6 pm).
How many designs can be submitted?
One participant will be allowed to submit 2 designs. However, only 1 design will be chosen for judging.
The selection committee will choose only 1 design they feel is suitable for judging.
Closing Date:
The first 50 participants who submit their designs will be up for competition.
Competition closes once the 50th person submits the design tote bag.
Prizes:
1st Place $500 (cash) - Sponsored by Imagine Tattoo (www.imaginetattooing.com)
2nd Place $300 (cash) - Sponsored by Socium
3rd Place $200 (cash) - Sponsored by Ochre Pictures Pte Ltd
4th, 5th & 6th Place $75 (cash) - Sponsored by Mr. Ho Chee Heng
7th, 8th, 9th & 10th Place $50 (cash) - Sponsored by Miss Nancy Tan
Top 3 Winners’ Perks:
All Top 3 winners’ designs will be replicated for future merchs.
Limitless and Fineline will hold the rights to these 3 designs for 2 years, after which artists will retain full ownership.
These 3 artists will receive a 30% sales commission from every merchandise sold on their design.
Proposed merchs are mugs, t-shirts, bags, posters, etc.
For transparency, artists will be informed of the merchandise for sale.
All merchs will be labeled as “Exclusive Limited Edition”.
Sales of these limited edition merchs will go to Limitless in support of our youth mental health outreach program.
Event Dates for Public Viewing:
28th & 29th May 2022
All 50 designs will be displayed at SCAPE #02-15 gallery for public viewing.
Viewing Times:
Saturday 19th March: 10 am to 8 pm
Sunday 20th March: 10 am to 6 pm.
Award Ceremony:
Sunday 29th May 2022 @ 4pm
All Top 10 Winners will be notified by 11 am on 29th May.
So, they will have time to make their way down to SCAPE by 4 pm.
Winners will be announced of their placings at the award ceremony.
Judges' decisions are final.

Gallery Viewing:

In compliance with the existing MOH covid protocols, all attendees must be fully vaccinated to enter the gallery viewing at SCAPE.
Judging criteria:
Originality: 10 points
Medium of choice: 10 points
Overall Concept: 10 points
Total: 30 points
Tie Breakers:
Any tie-breakers in the Top 10 will be re-judged from 0 by the judges.
